Mark 7: 1-20

(Mark 7: 1-20) Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem. And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault. For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders. And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables. Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands? He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.  For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:

Some of Jesus' disciples ate food without washing their hands. The Pharisees, who saw this, sharply criticized the disciples. The law had written scriptures and traditions that were handed down to the oral tradition through the elders after Moses. The Jews placed the tradition of the elders above the law. Israel was desert, and it was windy and dry, so it had to blow away a lot of dust and wash its body. In chapter 11 of Leviticus, it was to serve God well with a pure body. They thought they were pure by washing their hands. However, their hearts were not as clean as they washed their hands. Jesus rebuked these hypocrisy.

But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? They have broken God's commandments by tradition. Gorban was the specific example of their violation of the commandments. Gorban means "given to God." This is not honoring their parents under the name of giving to God. If it was declared "Gorban," it could not be used for any other purpose. The Jews created this system to love and fear God more than anything based on the 1-4 commandments. However, people broke the fifth commandment to honor their parents using Gorban. They said that if they don't want to serve their parents, they say it's Gorban, and they don't serve God or serve their parents. Indeed, even the money that must be paid back was not even paid off.

Their problem was hypocrisy. Hypocrisy is a play term that means actor or clown. The actor conceals himself and plays the role of a character in the play by wearing a mask or disguised as another. In other words, hypocrisy is a term that refers to a double life that is different from the outside. On the surface, the Pharisees seemed to have good faith because they followed the traditions of the elders diligently washing their hands, bathing, and washing their dishes, but the inside did not love God. Not only that, they were humanists who taught people more words than God's commandments. In Romans 2, they boasted of God and taught others hard. But they saw the tee in the other's eyes, but not the beams in their own eyes. They washed the cups and bowls clean, but their hearts were full of greed and debauchery. Jesus pointed out their appearance

Jesus called again to prevent the crowds from being influenced by religious leaders. Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?  But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. (Matthew 15: 17-18) When Jesus said this, the disciples were worried that they would be persecuted by the Pharisees by touching the Pharisees' pride. But Jesus didn't care at all, saying, "Every planted thing will be picked up that my heavenly Father does not plant." And Jesus warned his disciples not to compromise with or compromise hypocritical Pharisees and scribes. It was because the disciples were not yet sensible and could lead the blind to lead the blind into the pit.

The evil mind of man cannot be improved. So, Jesus said that if a person is not born again, he cannot be saved. It is not an improvement of heart, but salvation is impossible unless the "body of the flesh" dies and is reborn as a spirit body. This is rebirth. The new birth becomes different from the previous one. So he is no longer under Satan's control. In 1 John, it is said that those who are born again are kept by the Holy Spirit, and say that Satan cannot even approach them, and that they do not sin. It is natural. Because it was completely replaced. It is the difference between believing this or not.

Today, most people do not believe in the secrets of the Bible. Even if he is born again, his sin nature is the same, and he always has to sin. They do not want to believe. It is because they judge themselves with the eyes of the flesh. It is said that God changes, but people do not want to believe it. It is unbelievable with the mind and body. And it may be because the old is considered precious. People do not want to crucify the old on the cross. People don't want to abandon everything the old remembers.
