Mark 13: 1-37

(Mark 13: 1-37) And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.  And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.  And the gospel must first be published among all nations.  But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.  Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.  And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judæa flee to the mountains: And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:  And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.  But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.  For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.  But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.  And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.  And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.  Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:  So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.  Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.  And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

In the world, when the bride is in trouble when the bridegroom sees, the groom tries to save the bride. Christ, the bridegroom in the kingdom of God, will not leave the bride in the tribulation of this earth. Today, everyone in the church thinks they are the bride of Jesus. To be a bride of Jesus, believers must be one with Jesus who died on the cross.

The Bible says in Ephesians (5: 31-32).For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. The church is the bride of Jesus. The church is not a building but a saint. In other words, it means the spirit of the saints who have lived in the body of spirit through the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus came to the world and gave his bride bread and wine. The bread is the flesh of Jesus, and the wine is the blood of Jesus. It means being one with Jesus by eating and drinking bread and wine.

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) (Matthew 24:15) What should we realize? You must know what the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place is.

Jesus came to this world and died on the cross as a ransom for all sinners. Thus, God abolished all the sacrifices spoken in the Old Testament. Jesus' death was once done. Those who repent (who died with Jesus) and realize that they have departed from God are freed from all sin by Jesus' death. And they believe that they have forgiven all the sins of the past, present, and future. But if you do not believe what Jesus has accomplished, you do not believe in Jesus. God promised to give the Israelites a land of promise when they entered the land of Canaan, but no one but two believed it.

Likewise, today, most church people say that they believe in Jesus' word of promise but are not fruitful in action. There are still many who have to repent of their sins and are bound by the law. the abomination of desolation means a person who believes to be holy in Jesus, but still believes to be holy by the law. Satan is in the minds of those who think.
The Bible says in 2 Thessalonians (2: 3-4).
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Thessalonians believe that Jesus is coming soon. So the apostle Paul hurriedly wrote a letter. The son of destruction mentioned by the apostle Paul is the abomination of destruction spoken of in Matthew. When the abomination of destruction happens, there is apostasy.

Before Jesus returns, apostasy occurs in trouble. But before the tribulation, the true brides of Christ are raptured to share in the heavenly wedding feast. Those who remain in the tribulation will realize that the rapture has already passed, and will purify themselves for salvation. At this time, two witnesses from the book of Revelation will appear and preach the word of truth. They say that they cannot be saved unless they die with Jesus Christ. In other words, even if people give themselves up in trouble, they must hold on to Jesus Christ. But two kinds of people appear. Those who keep their faith by life in trouble and those who seek to purify themselves.

Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.(Daniel 12:10) Most people make every effort to purify themselves in the end times. In the book of Revelation, countless people come out in white suit, and an angel asks John. Who do you think they are? Angels say they are people out of trouble. In times of trouble, they say that they believe in Jesus, but they have false beliefs. So, when they enter into trouble, they realize that they have false faith and seek Jesus Christ.

The Apostle Paul speaks to the Israelites. that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in (Romans 11:25). God chose Israel and gave the law for the salvation of all peoples. The Israelites, however, thought they could achieve righteousness by the law. So Israel was destroyed. God is telling all people not to follow Israel. However, today there are still those who live legally as Israel did.

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place(Matthew 24:15)

Most people think of the holy place as the church, but it means the spirit of the saints. It is a group that is sanctified in Jesus Christ. But those who believe that this sanctification is still finding sin through the law and demanding the blood of Jesus to wash it away. We must realize that Satan requires Jesus' blood behind the people. Those who think they are God's people believe that they have been sanctified, but they believe that the blood of Jesus is needed to be forgiven every day, and they are keeping legal events and feasts.

Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:  Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes(Matthew 24: 16-17)

Those in Judea are all those who believe in the law. Acid means Zionic acid. In Psalm 2: 6, Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. "I" is God. My king is Jesus Christ. The mountain means Jesus. Thus, those who believe in the law should give up the law and do righteousness through Jesus Christ. The Bible says that there is no way of salvation except Jesus Christ. Although tribulation is there, let us realize that only through Jesus Christ is the way of salvation, and to be free from all the law.

Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:  Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes(Matthew 24: 16-17).

The roof means the house of God (the temple). Those on the roof are those who have realized that they do not need a temple. The saints are the temple. So the saints do not have the law. The word house uses the same word as the temple in 2 Kings 12:11.And they gave the money, being told, into the hands of them that did the work, that had the oversight of the house of the LORD: and they laid it out to the carpenters and builders, that wrought upon the house of the LORD, In Malachi 3:10, the house is the temple.

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes (Matthew 24:18)

Those who work in the fields are sowers. In tribulation, they will understand God's will and do not turn back. Outerwear speaks of the law. There is an example of Lot's wife who looked back and was destroyed. And, God did not let them enter Canaan because the exodus people wanted to return to Egypt from the wilderness. They died in the wilderness.

And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians (4:15).For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. In times of trouble there will be those who realize the meaning of the gospel. They are "that are with child. So, then it becomes hard." To them that give suck in those days! ".  A breastfeeding child is one who makes the gospel grow. The Bible says in Hebrews 5: 12-13. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.  For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:(Matthew 24:20)

Jesus said this to legalists. "Winter or the Sabbath" are all those who have been enslaved by the law and hardened like winter. The meaning of the Bible is to pray to be free from the legal idea of keeping the Sabbath. Today, there are many things that we consider legally or to obey, such as tithing, the Sabbath holy day (think of Sunday Sunday as a Sabbath concept), and the celebration of various seasons. Those who seek to keep the law will enter into trouble before Jesus' second coming. Those who keep the law are judged by God if they fail to keep any of them. Thus, we are saved only by giving up the law and entering the gospel of the grace of Christ. The gospel of grace is to die with Jesus on the cross about the law. It is a grace to believe this.

Every people on earth knows Jesus coming. What is the difference between Jesus coming as a thief and Jesus coming to all the nations? Jesus coming as a thief means the one who is raptured, and Jesus, who comes to all nations, is the second coming of the earth after seven years of great tribulation. This passage speaks of what will happen at the Second Coming of Jesus. Jesus will show signs from heaven, and in this regard, he told us to learn the parable of the fig tree. The fig tree represents Israel. So people think and talk about Israel. Although Israel was destroyed by Rome, it highlights Israel's independence almost 2000 years later.

There is something Jesus said about the fig tree.He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.  Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?  And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:  And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. One is God. The vineyard means this world. So, planting a fig tree means God chose the nation of Israel. And God sought fruit, but as a result Israel was cut off because he had no fruit.

In Matthew 21: 9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. Likewise, in Mark 11:13, And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. It is not the time of the fig, it is not the time of Israel."

When Jesus saw the fig tree by the side of the road, he said, "unto unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away .. (Matthew 21:19) The word "for ever" means that Israel will not bear fruit until the Second Coming of Jesus.

Through the fig tree cursed by Jesus, he cursed Israel. The fruit that Jesus expected through Israel is the fruit worthy of repentance. God gave the law to Israel, and as Israel tried to keep the law, they realized that they could hardly keep it completely and found Christ. However, Israel did not find Christ, but rather crucified him on the cross.

God wanted Israel to lament and cry out to God. God wanted Israel to cry out as the Pharaoh's slaves cried to God in Egypt, but they turned away from God's will. Pharisees and scribes did not cry, but the tax collectors, prostitutes, and the sick cried, and they found Christ.

When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: (Matthew 24:32) Here through "his branch is yet tender," many speak of Israel's independence, but not of Israel's independence, but of the situation at the Second Coming of Jesus. In Matthew 24, Jesus spoke of the situation figuratively of Noah's time. "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." (Matthew 24:37)

In Noah's day, God destroyed the world with water. The Bible tells us why in Genesis chapter six. In Genesis 6: 2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And in Genesis 6: 5, "And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually". We can see how severe the spiritual adultery of the world at that time was. It is said that they are God's people, but everyone is living for the world.

Today, people live in a world where homosexuality is rampant and homosexual marriage is globally permissible. We can see a situation that is nearing the time of Jesus' second coming. The world is gradually coming to an end-time situation.

The gospel is reaching the end of the world, and the translation of the Bible is ongoing. Homosexuality is spreading around the world, and artificial intelligence research and development is progressing rapidly. Scientists are trying to connect a computer to a person's body, and they say that they can duplicate a person's memory, store it on a computer, and a person can't die forever.

There seems to be a short time before animal cloning is applied to humans. The world is being integrated globally, the destructive power of war weapons is so severe, the epidemic is spreading rapidly across the globe, money is settled from cash to credit, and electronic payment systems are also rapidly developing. The word 666 is not a distant future.

The Bible tells us that when Jesus returns, the Messiah's kingdom will be established. The Bible calls this the restoration of Israel. But the Messiah's kingdom speaks of the restoration not only for Israel but for all the people of the world. God chose Israel, but Israel failed. So when Jesus returns, Jesus rules the world for himself. This is the millennial kingdom (the kingdom of Messiah) from Revelation.
